Pat Robertson, the conservative the left loves to hate

Whenever the resident moonbat of the Republicans opens his mouth you can bet his absurd comments will be all over the press. Often implying that he somehow not only has a direct line to God, Robertson also apparently has direct conversations with God, as well. He's the perfect person to be used by the anti-God liberals as proof positive "Christians" are all a bunch of dopes, and Robertson is a perfect example. There's no doubt that he's pretty dopey himself, but it's certainly not fair to paint with such a broad brush when it comes to the 80% of Americans that call themselves Christians. Regardless, there will be plenty of press stories about another one of his absurd comments:
Assoc. Press
Christian broadcaster Pat Robertson suggested Thursday that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's stroke was divine punishment for "dividing God's land."

"God considers this land to be his," Robertson said on his TV program "The 700 Club." "You read the Bible and he says `This is my land,' and for any prime minister of Israel who decides he is going to carve it up and give it away, God says, `No, this is mine.'"
......He also said, however, that in the Bible, the prophet Joel "makes it very clear that God has enmity against those who 'divide my land.'"

There's nothing reverend about Rev. doubt he gives Christians a bad name.
